A number of blog posts had been assigned to the wrong category, which diluted the site’s topical structure and made related content harder for both visitors and search engines to find. All affected posts were moved to their correct categories.

2Scheduled Posts Published + PAIA Manual

All scheduled posts were published, together with the PAIA manual — the information manual required of private bodies under the Promotion of Access to Information Act.

3Location Service Pages — Complete Redesign

Every location service page on the site was completely redesigned: cleaner layout, clearer practice-area navigation, and a stronger presentation of the firm’s services in each area it serves.

4Awards Added to the Footer

An awards image was added to the site footer, putting the firm’s recognitions in front of visitors on every page and reinforcing credibility signals sitewide.

5Author Accounts Created

New author accounts were set up and related posts were assigned to the correct author name. Named authorship strengthens E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trust) signals and gives each practice area a consistent voice.

6Cloudflare Turnstile Captcha on Forms

Cloudflare Turnstile captcha was deployed on the site’s forms to tackle spam submissions — a privacy-friendly, low-friction check that blocks bots without bothering real enquirers.

New Location Pages — Sandton & Johannesburg

In August we wrote and scheduled 38 new location pages — the same 19-page set targeting the Sandton area and a matching set targeting Johannesburg — covering the three core practice areas. These pages position the firm for high-intent “attorney in Sandton” and “attorney in Johannesburg” searches across family, criminal defence, and commercial matters.

What Will Be Done in September

• Topical map creation — building a structured map of the topics the site should cover, so future content targets gaps and clusters systematically rather than one-off.
• Deep optimization of important pages — the highest-value pages will be optimized based on SERP analysis and conversion-rate optimization (CRO) principles, so they not only rank but convert more of the visitors they attract.

What May Change Along the Way

• Scheduled pages go live gradually — as the 38 Sandton and Johannesburg pages publish and get indexed, we will track indexing status and start monitoring rankings.
• Rankings settle over time — new local pages typically take weeks to a few months to establish positions; early fluctuations are normal.
• Search demand shifts — performance data from the new pages will guide which areas and practice verticals to expand next (e.g. further Sandton suburbs or adjacent metros).
• Ongoing monitoring — Search Console data will drive the next round of prioritisation.
